I want to make a platformer next, but I don't want to do a Mario clone. Does anyone have any ideas?
Nothing complex like a Metroidvania or even a Sonic clone (physics would be a nightmare).
@xianc78 @Tadano Go old school wario land like sml 3 or virtual boy wario land.
@xianc78 Wario Land 3 mainly, and even then not to the degree of being a full metroidvania. Wario games usually have a focus on exploration using goofy transformations. Ideally you also get some Wario Land 4 speed too.
