Anyways, how realistic could it be to create a company town in the middle of nowhere? I picture something built right from the get go so a very European-like town with lots of walkable streets, trams, and mix-use lowrises with shops on the ground floor and housing upstairs, and all of it gated so no undesirables can just come and take a shit in the middle of the main square. How could I avoid getting my hypothetical company town blown to pieces by artillery once the government finds out about it? would it be really possible to keep a low profile and not attrack unwanted attention?
