I am pro-transgender because I am pro-"freedom" (or at least leaving people alone as long as they harm nothing) but that means a third category in sports, bathrooms, etc.

Maybe there are pragmatic reasons for focusing on your own as opposed to trying to save everyone, but hiding behind libertarian "principle" as an excuse for doing nothing in the face of wickedness and falsehood is simply cowardice.

It's a matter of scale. No individual can function independently for any extended period of time the way family, tribe, clan, and village can. Acting to promote stable and healthy society within a natural human scale is a necessity and an imperative, it is not necessary and often counterproductive to try to enforce universalist standards over mutually incompatible peoples.

I mean many of these people are incurably fucked up from the beginning, but there's also dumb kids who get sucked into this shit but would otherwise get along reasonably well with appropriate societal safeguards. Social contagions and societal health exist, and I don't think it's right to devolve into total social darwinism as a rationalization for not opposing wicked and antisocial behaviors.
