@anemone it's a very cute little board :)
cheapest optical board on amazon too, which was a nice touch (https://github.com/pixeltris/GK6X gonna try this later to get it fully decked out with things like a real arrow keys layer)

@allison @anemone You could've gotten a Launch Lite from System76. It's similar to the one you got.

@xianc78 @anemone at like 6-8x the price, no thank you (I'm not a rockefeller, you know)

@allison @anemone If you're that cheap just get a used keyboard. I've been using a 2004 Mac Keyboard as my main for years.

@xianc78 @anemone used optical keyboards basically aren't a thing let alone in this switch weight (35g 3.2mm bottom out)
@xianc78 @anemone like I very specifically got it so that I would have a keyboard I could use for long periods of time without noticeable hand strain, and most keyboards on the market (thus most used keyboards too) are honestly pretty bad for that

@allison @anemone Apparently, I'm the only person who isn't picky when it comes to input devices (besides hating membrane keyboards).

I don't pay attention to the current trends of keyboard or mouse manufacturers, but ever since I've heard about Razer putting literal DRM in their mice, I've been sticking with either old or open-source input devices.

@xianc78 @anemone I only pay attention to the trends insofar as different switch types might end up being better suited to me ergonomically than others, otherwise, I could honestly care less.

@allison @anemone I don't know. Not being able to use an input device when you don't have an internet connection seems like a pretty big deal.

@xianc78 @anemone fortunately basically nothing is like that, just do your research and you'll be fine
