Github requires you to sign in to search code on public repositories, even though you can just clone the repo and search it offline yourself without logging in.

I'm on Gitlab for the moment (I refused Microsoft's forced 2FA, so I no longer can login). I've considered self-hosting, but I have gotten some contributions in the past and at least want to make that friction-less. But yea, I gave up on putting new stuff on Github a while ago.

@djsumdog My only problem with Gitlab is that it's Cloudflared.
