@BowsacNoodle for me it became a lot simpler...I took general relativity in college...got an A...and now I no longer believe any science that relies on time...probably not their intent...but they should have less stupid theories then...

@xianc78 @Victor_Emmanuel @BowsacNoodle I'm about 45 minutes into it...the intuitions not making sense in these thought experiments are the kind of thing that make me and most university students in general relativity confused...they definitely go over this and similar puzzles in school...and einstein talked about them...so i dont get the anti-scientism/einstein angle they are pushing here....for me it made me just doubt time in general as a correct concept...while I think the lesson for most students is that empirically you can't well order events in the universe by observation alone because of very large and ambiguous zones of "simultaneity"...
