You can tell these twitter leftists never go outside, let alone have worked in retail. 99% of shoplifting is for resale or expensive personal use (Expensive meats, Alcohols or dry goods to sell on like branded coffee)
I've NEVER, EVER seen anyone shoplift a loaf of bread, or tin of beans.
Like this image. I vaguely agree with 1 & 3. But 2 is ridiculous. I wouldn't snitch on a person stealing essential like a loaf of bread. I've just NEVER seen that happen.

@adachi @Merc @genmaicha Shoplifting tends to be a last resort. People will check the dumpsters first (a lot of stores throw away anything that doesn't meet their quality standards) before outright stealing.
