I don't really like Christmas that much. The holiday I find materialistic, the music insufferable, the decorations kitsch and the crowds burdensome. But what I've learned to appreciate is the joy this season affords others, and the excuse to gather the extended family. I hope you have a very merry Christmas fedi.

It's just a holiday that's mid af. Even the people shoving it down your throats don't believe in the bullshit, they're exceptionally hostile at the drop of a hat. Same old same old except with a Santa hat on. Fuck that. I'm miserable 24/7/365 and I embrace that. I'm not putting on some phony social costume just to make it.
