I vaguely remember the equivalent fight in the Master System version being a little more tricky to hit without taking a hit yourself, even with some degree of over-leveling involved.

Well, I hit Dark Fact by nightfall, but I'm apparently destined to fail horribly at dodging diagonally-moving projectiles while trying to hit a dude that bounces around the screen like a DVD screensaver, so I spent the night grinding levels before heading to bed... and picked it right up where I left off after I had breakfast.

Boring-ass grind session over - I'm gonna go kill this guy now.

Well, that ended abruptly... at least it went in my favor this time around.

So, Dark Fact is dead, we get carried off the top of Darm Tower to the land of Ys... and we wake up in a field, flat broke and bereft of all our equipment - probably got looted by monsters while we were out cold, but hey...
