#supertux A project that teases you with a cryptocurrency donation link, but then won't actually take your crypto. :( Coinbase supports 5 wallets no one has ever heard of. You apparently can't actually send crypto of any kind to the project. It might be time to just post some IDK Bitcoin, Monero, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, and whatever other actual crypto QR codes instead of relying on an evil intermediary like Coinbase. And yea, Coinbase is truly evil.. They've done everything they possibly can to undermine the use of cryptocurrency as a currency. With their "wallet" they batch payments so if you try and pay a bill it doesn't send it till a while after the button is hit resulting in no payment received by the merchant. You meanwhile are stuck having lost the crypto, look stupid, AND probably will end up having to pay in some form of dirty fiat (government money, of which the benefit is your enabling governments to drop bombs on women and children overseas).
@mr_penguin What country is the project based in? I know in some countries, hardware wallets are illegal.
@mr_penguin I thought they were banned in the EU, but apparently it just means that you can't anonymously hold crypto. My mistake.
@xianc78
I think self custody is allowed and privacy coins aren't banned so much as exchanges and the like are being harassed and threatened into not supporting them. The later is certainly the case in the US.
