Reminder that gossip and detraction are serious sins. Even if negative statements about someone are true, if they are not necessary for correction and edification, they are still sinful. In general, you should avoid all online discussion of anyone with a substantial Kiwifarms thread and no notable positive accomplishments. And of course this advice applies at least as much to me as anyone else.

@ArdainianRight What if the person in question is causing harm and ruining people's lives? I don't like lolcow drama and e-celeb gossip, but some people like Drew DeVault (FOSS developer who is known for ruining projects and lives of those who don't align with his views) deserve it.
Saying something to warn people about scammers and predators would qualify as necessary. That's not the same as gossip about Ethan Ralph or Nick Fuentes.
