People shouldn't forget that advertisers are scum and part of the problem just because of a tepid shift in policy.

I'm not betting that they are fully going to support free speech. At least the independent journalists I read and listen to are funded by other means.

I doubt it, this just means that you'll have both sides of the political establishment saying it for clicks.
What's really changing is that you'll be allowed to monetize as long as you're within the narrowing overton window.
