Is red light therapy a meme? It has been given non-stop praise from the alt-medicine community and being treated like a cure-all, and I'm now seeing red-light therapy products at BestBuy of all places.

@xianc78 I bought a small red light mat, and I used it for a while (maybe a month?) on my lower back. I didn't notice any difference, though.

I don't know anything about pain, but it is proven to help with fat reduction. 20 minutes on an area, every other day, for 2 weeks. Then results can show in 2-4 months. It's minimal and may require 2-3 total rounds for "larger" areas. Not eating right can destroy gains.

Before and after photos can really highlight it.

for best results put the red light in the fridge.

@souldessin @groddil I just want something I can use in case I get carpal tunnel again. Something I can use to make it go away as quickly as possible and without going to the doctor.

Turmeric with a light sprinkle of black pepper. 1-3, #00 gel caps per day. We use it in the dog food and it helped a very hurting and old dog. My mom uses it and it's helped her sciatica and arthritis. Our dog got less, of course.

Oh, and you can take it regularly to prevent a lot of aches from starting.
