Not a particularly spicy take, but here goes:
I think Lunduke has a net-negative effect on the FOSS community.
By damaging the reputation (deserved or not) of major projects, he alienates more people than he converts.
Worse, I think he drives the very division he claims to be wanting to eliminate.
I would not be surprised if many FOSS projects become more overtly hostile (or at least defensive) in light of past engagement.
I worry that he is leveraging long-standing resentment (justified or not) to attack FOSS, rather than to actually build it up to be what many of us would like it to be.

@gabriel@fedi.libresolutions.network I disagree, I think he's a net positive by exposing the insane people (shaming them into silence) and making a space for moderates and the apolitical to be able to contribute meaningfully to FOSS.

@jeff @gabriel He always had a mixed-bag of takes, imo. I generally agree with his anti-woke stance, but he also has some really bad takes like real ID for certain sites or him quitting LBRY/Odysee because one feature video dared to have the s-bomb in the title.

@xianc78@gameliberty.club @gabriel@fedi.libresolutions.network Mixed bag indeed but a net positive regardless, i understand why he's anti anonymity, he's jewish.

@jeff @gabriel To be fair, he did propose a solution in the form of purchasable cards with serial numbers that you could buy at a gas station or something to prove that you are a human or adult.

@xianc78@gameliberty.club @gabriel@fedi.libresolutions.network buying a wank pass isn't going to solve the problem, we need to socially shame anyone who lets a kid go online, we need to equate it to having sex with children because it's really not that far off a comparison.
