Working on the design doc for my next game. Hopefully, switching to SDL will allow development to go smoothly this time.

@xianc78 SDL, as long as you utilize the most recent version, will also allow targeting a multiplatform build and implement things like controller support much more easily

@vokainen099 I'm still using SDL2 because LazyFoo's tutorials are still using it. I don't think SDL3 has been widely adopted yet.

@xianc78 I was in fact referring to SDL2, you don't want to be stuck on SDL1 now that SDL3 is in development, but you still shouldn't use SDL3, too immature
I should have phrased it "Latest stable SDL"

@vokainen099 SDL1.2 is still fine if you want to support older platforms like the Dreamcast, but there is little to no reason to use it beyond that.
