Does anyone with experience with Mini PCs have any recommendations?

I don't need much and would like to be less dependent on laptops as I feel like my heavy usage wears them down.

@xianc78 only that the Skylake era ones are very cheap, and can take a decent bit of upgrades depending on the vendor
@xianc78 The particular model I was thinking of with the PCIE slot was discontinued a while ago, but they do seem to be readily available on ebay. Though for that price it may be advisable to just get one of the more modern mini pcs from minisforum, beelink and such. That being said, going off of price alone- Optiplex 3050 micros can be had for under $100 usually, and are apparently even supported by libreboot if that's your sort of thing.
