linux users when they have to install BSD because fortnite coming to linux means it's no longer cool and hip anymore and that it's mainstream dood

@PurpCat They're installing BSD (NetBSD in particular) because of Linus allowing AI generated code in the kernel.

@xianc78 @PurpCat BSD's allow whatever LLM degenerated proprietary software anywhere?

@Suiseiseki @PurpCat NetBSD in particular has a strict no-AI policy. That's why so many people are switching to it.

@xianc78 @PurpCat Now if only they had a policy to not include proprietary software in the default install.

GNU/kNetBSD without the proprietary software (you'd need to replaced all the unlicensed files) would be fine really.
@redstarfish @xianc78 @PurpCat glibc has been ported to work with kNetBSD, for NetBSD, although it's not like that code is maintained well.

gnulib also supports netbsd 10+; https;//www.gnu.org/software/gnulib/manual/html_node/Supported-Platforms.html

Considering that NetBSD is still slopware, I don't see the point of working on GNU/kNetBSD instead of GNU/Hurd.

How? Didn't someone mention that it has not "AI" policy?
@redstarfish It has no such policy.

Note that it says; "and must not be committed without prior written approval by core." and not "and must not be committed."
