@MartinJJ This is why it took the EU 3 months to place an order for the union compared to the UK for example. And all the nice EU countries ordered their own vaccines outside the EU while the rest is dependent on Brussel's beaurocracy.
(This said, I don't get their fetish for mRNA vaccines. )

Did you know they themselves are are all exempt from any Covid measures? It’s just a big show if you see them on tv with masks. Even our own Prime Minister recently was forced to admit he never had a test himself

I think I have more modest view. I do believe the EU is unnecessary and we are better of with the EEG/EEC construction we had before. Now we (as a member state) are bogged down by bureaucracy, corruption and overall systemic inefficiencies. Globalist, maybe.. the EU is (at least publicly) picking the weirdest fights and allies.
Yeah, the hypocrisy from our leaders are just maddening an insane. If you see the list of who can and cannot travel or need C19 testing, its hypocritical. But its with everything leaders do; Rules for thee, but not for me. And everybody does it and everybody covers each other.
To be fair, with the current rules if nobody near Rutte got sick for whatever reason there wouldn't be a need to test him. (Question is if anyone near Rutte got sick in the first place, we ain't hearing shit about that). Its odd Rutte doesn't wants to get tested, you would say he is used to long objects been lodged into the back of his throat. ;-)

Not sure what is modest about that. It must be clear the EU commission are all globalist freaks. The EU has little to do with anything Democracy. The giant EU Parliament can not propose any laws or influence the (secret) choice of people in the EU Commission. It’s one big show. Just like Biden is a globalist puppet, they all are also. Anyone conservative stays far away from these leftist freaks and are never elected into the Commission. Now 80% of Dutch laws come from Brussels
