Alright after some thought on it, here is the Shebang! take.
I honestly do not give one flying fuck about Derek Chauvin, he can go to jail and burn. I don’t especially care about George Floyd either — he was a druggie with a history of violence. This was two shitty people being shitty, and ending up in a bad way. I don’t think Floyd deserved to die, but given his drug habits and violent history it was sooner or shortly later anyway. Maybe had he lived he might have reformed himself, but he chose to gamble with his life, and he lost.
Now, Chauvin. Police are nothing more than statist infantry deployed to enforce laws created by corrupt authoritarian trash. They knowing steal and fuck with people in the course of their jobs and justify it with shit like “I’m only following orders” and “b-but its the law so I have to fuck with you”. I don’t fall for that shit, and if you do, you are a cuck. Police are fuckers, and when one of them comes to a bad end its cause for celebration. There are no good cops, they will all violate your rights if they are told to do so. The ones who had any moral fibre took off the uniform already.
What we did see, that does interest me, is the courts bend to the will of the mob, and the last nail in the coffin of idea of the courts being impartial. Lets be clear, they never were impartial — but they pretended to be, and now, they’ve stopped pretending.
I say lets get it all out of the open.

I see this as a USA problem with a USA solution. I fail to see how this is relevant for the European countries.
What I would like is a strong USA that saves Europe's ass when they (will) fuck up again in the near future and need some freedom delivered in 500 pound packages airdropped by a fastmover. With threats like Russia and China on our doorstep a strong ally is really welcome BTFOing the baddies, but with the US in the current state I doubt they will come to our aid when needed.

@xyfdi Alright here is another opinion that seems controversial to me. “I hate cops and I don’t care about druggies” isn’t actually that controversial in a lot of ways on fedi hah. But this will be unpopular I am certain.
Europe is dead. Its been dead a long time. It lacks the political will to stand up for its culture and history, and the military power to stand up against China. Its going to capitulate — and already is capitulating to China. Hell, most of Europe can’t even stand up to Muslim immigration.
Its a zombie place, with 99% of its population zombies, and its around today only by the inertia of it being around yesterday. If they won’t lift a finger to save their own asses then the USA should let them be crushed.
Most of the other Anglo countries should watch their asses too, they aren’t far behind.

No matter what you do or what you say, you will always offend somebody. No matter if its a stated fact or some opinion.

I concur wholeheartedly. I think the European Union while it does good from time to time is accelerating this process.
I worry about the Anglosphere, when Europe goes to shit a fallback position would be nice. Like you said, as its currently going everything seems to follow Europe's example.
