@LukeAlmighty Yeah, linguistically `it` is the correct approach. I too made the mistake once of suggesting it, thinking that trans activists were genuinely interested in ungendering the language.
But it was never about language, but rather about social activism. So because it's about changing society to be more accepting, rather than about reforming the english language, I think it's not going to work.
