This is something of a constant in my life.
Whenever I do anything on my PC, I do research, it's innate to me. Whenever I work on something, go through my emails, talk to someone or just watch something: I look things up.
And I usually leave tabs open, thinking that I'll go through them soon. But what usually happens, is that I'm left with hundreds and hundreds of tabs open.
I'm never content with "not knowing", there's always a fear of "missing out". While it might've provided me with vast knowledge about various topics, what good does it do to me ultimately, aside from being able to talk about a lot? I could've used that time for my hobbies or just for talking to someone. It's been so long I even watched an anime.
I'm trying to use external services for everything where it makes sense, like putting games on Steam in the service's wishlist, and also saving the most interesting and/or memorable webpages as snapshots locally (HTML and as an image file), so that I just have them and could peruse at a later time.
How is everyone else handling this? Do you happen to have this problem?
