It's pure emotion.
This is why I am so confused about spinsters in here. They truly do not seem to understand just how powerful is the voice in your head SHOUTING whenever you see a woman suffer even slightly.
Trust me. This is one of the strongest instincts a man have. And it takes years of non-stop torture for us to learn to slightly ignore it.

If I were to try explaining the power of this insticnt... Do you know the videos of a girl arguing with a guy? She slaps him, nothing happens. He slaps her back, out of nowhere, 10 guys appear willing to die for her.
They are willing to die, because another guy was defending hymself, and dared to touch a lady. That is the pure scale of this instinct.
But don't worry. This instinct can be killed. And modern women have mastered the techniques of killing this instinct to an unbelievable form. It's like watching a speedrunners pressing the right buttons to pass through walls and get miraculously fired across the map to do the impossible in mere seconds.
