I don't see any reason why marriage should even be any of state buisiness.

Do these 2 people want to live together? why stop them?

Do they want to split? State won't prevent them from doing so.

The only difference is, that women won't be able to use men as slaves anymore. I see literaly no reason for the legal framework to continue.
