Right libertarians, who would you rather ally with?

@xianc78 This cannot be a serious question...

One side decided they want me dead almost decade ago, while the other one want their birth right to say a word.

@LukeAlmighty Recently I have been talking to some LibLeft people who are more open-minded and are willing to work with the LibRight. They can have their own communes under ancapistan. In fact, using private property and contract law, anarcho-capitalism can allow all political ideologies to voluntarily coexist.

@xianc78
Sorry, but my idealism died 7 years ago. And lib left is who killed it.

@LukeAlmighty I remember both GamerGate and BlackLivesMatter starting in 2014.

@xianc78
Let's say you never know what you truly believe until you see it's true oposite.

I believed that racism was dead, they believed I should die because of my race.

I believed, that attacking an unarmed guy on stage is plane evil. They did it to spread their message.

Then I find out these people are willing to burn down small businesses. Even though these businesses help the entire community.

I believe it is important to support people who build a strong society. They believe it is just to take from hard working people everything they made.

I think it is important to support strong families, and they want to spend my money on single mothers.

I could go for much longer but the short point is, that there is no political view I despise more... We have nothing in common and I find the idea of coexistence laughable.

@LukeAlmighty So, what are you going to do if they voluntarily start a commune in ancapistan because destroying said commune violates the NAP.

@xianc78
Agression or not, you got to get rid of parasites either way.

@xianc78
Principles are things you strive for and try to build. But everything you value. EVERYTHING you want to keep, you must be also willing to defend.

@xianc78
Btw, it is truly insulting when people without principles point out your principles in order to make you give up.

It is a dirty tactics like these that killed my idealism.

@LukeAlmighty @xianc78
Those concern trolls usually like to conflate "property rights" with "freedom", even when they express a total disregard to the culture and traditions that make such freedom possible. So the moment you point that teensy tiny little detail, they flip the script and start calling you an "authoritarian fascist", "racist" and "misogynist" who wants to "deny opportunities to people". I would say that those concern trolls are very much the definition of the "Paradox of Freedom".
@TheMadPirate plus you can (more likely) use it as a truncheon to maintain your extremism by just accusing everyone who asks questions of concern trolling
@LukeAlmighty @xianc78
@icedquinn @LukeAlmighty @xianc78 Yeah, sure, a bad faith actor might do that, but it is usually short lived, because concern trolling requires you to pretend you are agreeing with the initial premise in the first place i.e. "I agree with you that welfare state is bad for the economy because it de-incentivizes people, BUT don't you think that those people would be more productive if they were able to get on their feet again?" or "I agree that you need to discriminate to judged what works from what doesn't, BUT don't you think that people would be less biased in a more culturally diverse environment?" ( both classic concern trolling arguments), which isn't always the case. So those bad faith actors end up being exposed when trying to use the "concern trolling" card on a legit debate against people who never agreed with their premises in the first place.
@TheMadPirate I've been near groups where they accuse me of concern trolling for asking them questions about their behavior or policies. So I pretty much know this as a defense mechanism so extremists don't have to debate.
@LukeAlmighty @xianc78
@LukeAlmighty @xianc78 not to sound gay but it's that tactic from rules for radicals, hold your opponent to their own principles and hold none of your own

@sharutiaburaddofouren @xianc78
Nah, I apreciate the input.
It is effective. These "people" did grow in size a lot.

But their every action only serves as yet another proof, that coexistence is impossible. And more people see it every day.
