I know it isn't a good long term strategy for making money, but that doesn't matter, since the money isn't even comming from them. It comes from the savings of normies. (I should take my money out of the bank). You do not need profit, if you are getting money from investors.

Vee, and 4Chan, are wrong on this, in my opinion.
Bob Chapek, CEO of Disney is turning the ship around, pushing the woke away.
There are still some diversity initiatives on the lower levels, but he either doesn't have the time for small fry, or keeps them as lip-service for the ESG rating.
But why is Chapek doing this?
No matter the amount of money pumped into it, there's one massive flaw that will inevitably bring ESG down.
If ESG didn't correlate with profits, it would've stayed forever, some companies would profit, others would lose money, but overall the trend would be a positive one, since all those companies have an advantage over everyone else.
However...
ESG correlates negatively with profits: "get woke go broke".
Which makes it a bubble, and therefore a terrible long-term investment.
Chapek is getting his way because Disney investors are on his side.
Why are they allowing him to do this? What do they know?
Probably the same thing Chapek does: Star Wars is worth more when it isn't woke, than the ESG could ever provide.
What's more, larger companies are not going to provide much in the way of growth for their short-term investors, so larger companies are just insane for chasing the ESG rating while burning down their own long established franchises.
Another example is Procter & Gamble (Owner of Gillette, and many other brands).
Gillette turned around and abandoned their "a best a man can be" woke slogan, and went back to their previous one, after losing market share they won't reclaim any time soon.
They aired an ad featuring a traditionally masculine firefighter as damage control.

The ESG is only useful for small/medium companies.
