Mozilla Firefox is crap at phone, it's slow at computer and phone, also Firefox is insecure by default and Mozilla can't be trusted.
I would suggest to go for Bromite or similar at phone, it's basically Google Chrome without any Google crap. Same with Ungoogled-Chromium at desktop.

Privacy is an issue of such insignificance, it's hard to even start explaining.
First, it's not my problem directly. I don't feel any pain from being watched.
Second, securing my data would generate a ton of inconvenience for my daily usage.
Third, All of data about me would be leaked by people in my proximity, who don't care about privacy either.
I wasn't able to persuade my own mother of a single rule. "Just don't upload my photos on facebook". A simple rule designed especially to be of least inconvenience to her. But she doesn't care, even if she knows I cared about this rule a lot.

I didn't say that I don't care.
It is just in the last level of requirements, far behind function, speed and morality.
The only solution for 100% privacy is going without cookies and javascript like GNUtards, which is ridiculous.
Doing log in each time I visit a website is egghhh. Also makes more user/pass transactions over internet.

i mean all forms of security require some amount of mindfulness. appealing to people's radical laziness is how big tech got here to begin with.
Not everyone likes threads on browsers, but I do, it avoids lot of issues with multitabs

The problem with privacy is that it's kinda too late.
It's like diving to the wreckage of Titanic, to say: Hey, I think this ship is going to sink.
Or going to Twitter and say: Wait a minute, what if that birth control pill is going to have an effect on social stability?
