I live in Czech republic, and I haven't seen a doctor in 3 fucking years. But sure.. It's all propaganda.

If me saying, that I have been trying to find an avaiable doctor for so long, I just gave up, deciding, I am better off becoming a health freak, then ever talking to tax-payed doctors again seems good to you, then sure. I won't change your mind anyway.

Ve Fakultní nemocnici Na Bulovce si pacient počká například na totální endoprotézu kolene nebo kyčle deset měsíců, na rekonstrukci prsu implantátem 2,5 roku a na mamografii tři měsíce.
Na vyšetření na magnetické rezonanci se čeká v Hradci Králové až dva měsíce, na operaci kýly až šest měsíců, až dva roky na operace páteře.
Ve Fakultní nemocnici Brno se pacient dostane na sál se žlučníkovými kameny za půl roku, když chce vyměnit kolenní kloub, trvá to i 1,5 roku.
V plzeňské nemocnici se čeká na náhradní kolenní kloub až devět měsíců.
V pražské Thomayerově nemocnici se neakutní případy kýly operují za čtvrt roku.

And there is also a funny mechanism, where if you miss a term, because you were sick, the waiting time restarts. 
@LukeAlmighty Here you just phone the doc and ask for an appointment. In my experience it tops at 1 week if you're unlucky or your doc is an ass at organizing
