Do you think that Autists are higher or lower then straight white men on the progressive stack?

@LukeAlmighty aspies tend to be hardasses for justice so they're probably more progressive but in the actual legitimate meaning of the term

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @LukeAlmighty well most of the progressives things are performative. science nerds already did psych tests and found normies are willing to sell out their believes easy. autistic people were really very hard to budge on it. so if you tell them you want equality of opportunity they are gonna become a stone wall about it and are probably not going to be supportive of renaming the master branch and calling it a day.

@LukeAlmighty doesn't matter because male autists are in the whole not diagnosed as such. even if people know autism exists in the abstract and even if they champion autism as a minority cause, when they actually meet a white male autist they just see a rigid, socially inflexible adult man that doesn't show empathy with them and tries to alternately steamroll them with his self-centered opinions or doesn't give them the emotional feedback they need (which makes them feel hated)

@LukeAlmighty @LukeAlmighty most progressive are very concerned with being normal and not being creepy. there was a video recently of a META employee threatening to ban people for not respecting her virtual personal space. i cant help but think all these big tech policies about harassment are inadvertently discriminating against autists who cant pick up on social cues.
