@LukeAlmighty it literally is a mental illness though idk why people can't accept that. Having a mental illness doesn't mean you're automatically a bad person. It's pretty stigmatized to be mentally ill and so there is a movement to normalize it instead of caring for it.

There would be much less of a need to shame though, if society was ready to accept the fact though.
It’s a mental illness when they get 12-18 year olds sucked into the ideology. During those development years kids go through body dysmorphia and it gets attributed to “being the wrong gender” and I think trans (when it starts in the teenage years) is basically just developmental stunting and not allowing the individual to grow and overcome their body dysmorphia.
Either way, yes wish people would see it as a mental illness and stop normalising it…
