It's fucking simple.
Czech doctors use latin terms for a reason. It's only the pseudo-intellectual maniacs who teach IT who think, that it's important to keep the language pure, when the entire field works in English.

@LukeAlmighty @picandor it's silly because here it's the inverse (heh) problem, too many fucking anglicisms taking over when russian is flexible and rich enough to not require that, but i can understand how the IT sphere could require a lot of anglicisms, although some shit can be substituted with russian words and it'd still make sense (array -> массив for example)
Universities here in Greece teach "bit" and "byte" in effectively ancient Greek terms. Then in the labs everyone uses "bit" and "byte" cause duh. But "variable" is always used translated. It's determined empirically, if it works just use it. Language purists can go fuck themselves, I'm not wasting 2 hours when writing docs to decide which word to use for "server". Now with the woke shit we have issues with "master"/"slave", too. FML
