I was incredibly hyped for tears of the kingdom, but so far, no matter what I do, the game seems incredibly mid.

Am I missing something?

@LukeAlmighty i don't think the game will be for everyone but it is definitely for me. it's cool though, a shit ton of people love dark souls but i can't get into it.

@beardalaxy
Yeah... I cannot describe how excited I was, when I saw this one will contain engineering...

But so far, it was nothing but a slight annoyance.

(And a big annoyance, when it comes to weapons/shield crafting)

@LukeAlmighty it does take a little bit to get the hang of, the controls are a little wonky

@LukeAlmighty everything is mid these days. I feel terrible for Zoomers because the entire Western World feels like it's going through the opposite of a cultural Renaissance

@NEETzsche@iddqd.social
@LukeAlmighty@gameliberty.club its rome late republic era, give it a couple of years before the empire.

@NEETzsche
If it's of any help, I see it as an oportunity.

This culture is about as close to a blank slade as possible, so anyone can start painting onto it by now.

In other words, I truly believe, that it can be our culture in 10 years.

How is this going to help revive fun games such as Civilizations or SimCity?

Those games are killed by "culture". I am sure by Civilization X I will be required to prove I sucked dick or I will not be licensed to play it.
@LukeAlmighty @NEETzsche this is what I tell people all the time and what my plan for the next 5 years is imo.

It's gonna be to quit my job and get more creative tbh.
