almost got 100% in rift apart. need to upgrade the rest of the weapons all the way and then actually complete it, on the last mission. i think i might upgrade the weapons on NG+ though, it'll probably be easier.

I seriously am avoiding confronting Ganon, since I don't want to rush the great game...

But at this point, it is starting to feel weird. This might be the first time, I actually feel the scream of ludonarrative dissonance

@LukeAlmighty I was telling my brother yesterday that trying to 100% complete TotK has actually made me like it less. I haven't beaten it yet. I haven't played it in like a month. There's too much game there. It's not like it's bad, it's really good and fun, but there's just too much of it. It has overstayed its welcome.

That's in stark contrast to rift apart, which I have now beaten twice and have completed it all the way. I've probably spent about 30 hours on it and I could see myself playing it again at some point. It's a really tight and highly refined game.

Also the TotK story is just really bad. The dissonance is really bad. Nobody knows who tf link is still, but everyone knows zelda, even though link is her knight and literally always by her. Link doesn't say shit about anything zelda-related to anyone either, even when it would greatly help them. The game has practically zero emotional impact and the story is just a shittier version of Ocarina of Time. But dang, that gameplay holds it together.

Now that I'm done with rift apart I think I can finally go back and beat zelda just to get it over with. I still don't know the ending.

> Noone knows, who the guy on the gigantic statue in the middle of the city is...

I absolutely agree with you there.

@beardalaxy
I don't want to end it, but there is a shit ton of content...

Now, I am farming dragon parts... that is quite a pain though.
