Ahsoka Review - Disney NUKES Star Wars in Epic Farce - Season 1 Episode 3

He's not joking in the tirle.
They just retconed the core principle of how the force works. Yes, anyone can be a Jedi now.

So, there is nothing left of the original structure. It's all just a good looking pixels of pew pew pew now.

@LukeAlmighty I was never into Star Wars in the first place so I don't know how it was originally structured. How did it work before?

@NEETzsche
The force was in all living creatures. It is part of the universe itself, terefore, it does affect the universe as a whole.

But, most people don't know about it. They don't feel the force, since they are missing the talent. (In EP.1 it's revieled, that this talent can be measured. That pissed of some @icedquinn , but didn't change the fact.)

[ALSO, NOONE SAID THE MIDICHLORIANS CAUSE THE MANIPULATION, ONLY, THAT THERE IS A DIRECT CORELATION]

So, if you are 1/ 1 000 000 people born with some sensitivity, you will have a better luck, since some kind of your mind can feel it, but that is not enough to be a jedi. It just makes you a character like Han Solo, who "just happen to" be impossibly talented.

But, if you are 1/ 1 000 000 000, you can be trained to feel the force consciously. And, after several years, you can start affecting the world around you.

So, that are the rules as far as I understand them. It takes decades to be a Jedi, who can actually do the things we see in the movies.... Until Disney bought the series, and made it so, that untrained person can do whatever the fuck they want if they are sensitive.

And now, they are making the sensitivity optional too, because why the fuck no?

@LukeAlmighty @icedquinn Okay this makes sense. It reminds me of Guild Navigators in Dune, or Psykers in 40k. The aptitude is very rare and even if you have it it still requires tons of training and effort.

I thought they already did this. I recall there was a huge outrage about how Luke Skywalker had to exert all this effort to get his powers, and then some bitch showed up and got all of his powers immediately because girl power.

This sort of thing has had me divest from every major franchise that I was interested in, often for many years. So I thought this was already done deal with Star Wars.

@NEETzsche @icedquinn
Well, they did skip the training once because of girl power in EP 7, but that was for an artificially created being with super-aptitude, and they also added an excuse. (although, a horrible one)

But in this case, Ahsoka just said, that the aptitude doesn't matter.... And that is kinda the last step to "anyone can be a jedi any time, nothing required"

Commies love to do this sort of thing. They love to erode definitions so that nothing means anything and everything is just a bunch of woo and bullshit. It has a number of purposes, but one of these purposes is entryism; make the special title someone might hold less meaningful by lowering standards. Mommy wow, I’m a jedi now!

Yeah...
I am almost happy I didn't finish the university, just because I see, how fast is the title losing it's prestiege.

@LukeAlmighty @icedquinn I've seen this gradual process of shitting up franchises with really great premises and execution. Great reputations. Destroying IPs with retarded leftoid bullshit. So I feel your pain.

That being said, I didn't go through it with Star Wars because, like I said, I never really got into it in the first place. The big ones I watched get corrupted were World of Darkness and Magic: the Gathering

@NEETzsche @icedquinn
Yeah, I played one game from the world of darkness, but from the little I've heard about the new releases of the franchise, it got fucked up HARD :D

@LukeAlmighty The WoD video games were downstream of the TTRPGs, which is where all the really cool parts of it went down. The video game is cheap by comparison. But they fucked the TTRPGs up too. Completely fucked them up. They did it to such an extent that it's like satire of leftists. It's basically Poe's law in action.
