An aquaman trailer just dropped, and I have no idea in what universe it takes place. And there are at least 3 options now.

@LukeAlmighty I hate multiverse garbage. It’s like the creators have no imagination to explore this current world, so they want to remake something in a sort of deja vu scenario. The new Starfield video game does this…you have a whole universe (lol) to explore, but the stupid Marvel-obsessed nihilist writers just made it a multiverse story where you repeat your actions, basically.

But seriously, at this point, I don't care about the game, since the devs themselves cannot decide if they even want to do FPS, RPG, city builder or a flight sim.

the point is, nothing matters with multiverse theory because everything still exists “somewhere” so there’s no stakes.
if you want to talk about movies, though, I recently saw the Flash movie, and maybe to some people they like experiencing “the same story, but a little different “ and with fan service, but I see it as a lack of imagination.
It never feels like there is any GROWTH to a world, it is just a remake or rerun in someone else’s vision (which describes comic books and their movies, but now it’s basically an acknowledged meta distinction by the creators)

I would preffer a remake of flashpoint.... But:
That is, because 9/10 superhero movies these days are a "fight your own clone origin story". And this flash was obviously yet again the same movie I saw 30 times in last decade.
