@LukeAlmighty The term "gender" was initially created by john money to describe the idea of a "mental" aspect that is separate from physical sex. Or essentially the "born in the wrong body" mindset. If you we're to literally Abolish "gender", that essentially means that your sex and mind are one in the same. I'm am male, my mind doesn't have a "gender" it simply exists in a male body. My mind can't be "male or female" depend on how i feel, as sex is a physical trait. If i begin saying "my mind is female" i need to use the concept of "gender" to rationalize that despite the physical reality that i I'm male.
