@LukeAlmighty @teto i genuinely don't think that many people care about releasing older games or remakes or whatever and not changing anything about them for "modern times." look at lollipop chainsaw, it didn't get anywhere close to as much bad press as stellar blade did because it's an old game and nobody gives a shit. developers could 100% not change anything and do away with the cringe warnings that show up before the title screen and nobody would care. when you go and start censoring things that already existed though, that's when people start to care. it is not something that is done "so that copies can sell in america" that's just what the creators are being led to believe by the retards trying to push this stuff.
@LukeAlmighty @teto yeah they're like "things need to be changed so that we can sell copies in america, boo hoo" not realizing that they could have left it as fucking is and maybe 2 radical feminists on twitter would be complaining about it. not to mention, dragon quest doesn't exactly sell well in america in the first place.
