Yeah, it is really sad to see your friend groups move on.
I talked to a friend who organizes meetups recently about this very topic, and he told me, that the only thing he can do is to rebuild the group from ground up every 5-10 years, because they cannot be sustained. People always fall off eventually.
My time here is over. I lurk from this account but don't spend much time on it throughout the day.
