George H. W. spent an insane amount on a particle accelerator in Texas that had huge segments of tunnel built but was never completed. Some of the old LHC videos are super weird too. There's a theory some of the big-money funding them truly believe their a portal to another dimension that will bring them great power.

@LukeAlmighty Nah. As much as people fear mongered, LHC stuff won't make black holes, or any kind of significant booms. Unless you think single moms will start WW3.

While you can be sure I have a deep resentment of single mothers, I still don't think WW3 is in their abilities.
