Star wars Episode 1 racer is the stick I use to measure racing games. It might be 26 year old stick, but so far, it still holds up and is prepared to be used to beat up anything 80 dollar AAAs can provide.
It's so sad though... No gerne had aged as bad as racing games.

Yeah... That looks badass. Kinda reminds me of Ace speeder (literally one of the oldest games I know, and from Japan as well 
) or original wipeout.
But damn. Imagine owning rights to such a series, and release the 80 dollar snail instead.

Indies are doing really well with that genre right now. BallisticNG and Redout for Wipeout, and Aero GPX and XF Extreme Formula for F-Zero.
