IP landline phone.
I don't think I've ever seen a technology so misused and abused.
@jeremiah
You take an internet capable device to emulate the shape of a phone from 50 years ago, make it starionary, locked to a cable, bulky, incapable of writing SMS, and the most insane part, you give them to every single person in the office, even though all of them have a smartphone and they have no space on the table as it is already.
@jeremiah
HOW IS THAT EVEN A REAL DEVICE?

Executive Assistants, office managers, desk jockeys all love their IP phone. For software phones, you're almost always fighting the software and or windows over which device is being used for microphone and speaker. Desk phone does not have that issue, plus it's much easier to monitor 10+ lines on a physical device than another monitor.
I agree that most people don't need a desk phone. Those that do would kill to keep it.
