@LukeAlmighty I understand, but they aren't smooth. You can see obvious temporal instability. Subtle shading is also often lost (although not here, the animation is just flat).
I can block out compression artifacts just by filling the missing information in in my head, but because there's no information missing in the AI upscale it's just hard to ignore.
