Maybe you'll find this interesting too: Molyneux's Youtube account got terminated.

@alyx imagine they could have spent all this time shilling their deplatforming-resistant alternatives in prep, but no. They stick to twitter and YouTube.
@alyx @crunklord420 i only fear about bitchute when it becomes big if they do they will become youtube

@alyx @crunklord420 like i think if you want to get a platform popular get the gamers,movie guys,anime guys,music guys and car guys on it and so on.

@1iceloops123 @crunklord420
Exactly. Vid.me actually managed to get some of that, but even they couldn't sustain it.

@alyx @crunklord420 like with gab and pler or whatever the new one is mostly community funded and i feel like its a bad way to run a company.

@1iceloops123 @crunklord420
From what I can tell, it might be the only way to run a company if you can't get ad money because you don't follow the political views of Silicon Valley.

@alyx @crunklord420 i wonder if these companies can run their own ad companies. like slicunt valley always want diversity but always act woke. like how i see its only good for small companies.

Theoretically you could create your own ad company, but the coalition of Silicon Valley and left-wing mainstream media will act like a mafia that will scare potential customers away from your brand new ad company.
Imagine the Gab hit pieces, but turned up to 11.

@alyx @1iceloops123 >you could create your own ad company
no you couldn't, you wouldn't be able to process payments.
@crunklord420 @alyx than you would have to make your own payment processer than your own bank than your own goverment.

@alyx @1iceloops123 @crunklord420 8chan basically did that for the longest time, but most of the ads ended up being for porn.
