I was just thinking, there seems to be an extreme lack of actual transgender futa. Like I've seen tonnes of futa stories and settings where they're naturally born hermaphrodites, and plenty where transformation is a major factor, but in the settings where there's transformation it seems to almost always be cis women who grow a dick for whatever reason. Sometimes it's a cis man who grows boobs and a pussy. But like, they're basically always cis from what I've seen - the guys who turn into futa still want to be men, it's just forced on them (sometimes with some brainwashing or other mind altering kinks thrown in, but let's leave that on the side since that really muddies the waters when discussing someone's mental identity). I don't think I've ever seen futa porn where a transgender woman's like "fuck yeah, 100% effective magical super HRT, sign me the fuck up"

seems kinda weird, I often see people associate futa with transexuality (both transphobes who hate futa and claim they're trans, and trans people who hate futa and claim it's transphobic, and even people who don't know any better and think they're related out of ignorance) but it seems like there's actually very little overlap from what I've seen. Its always felt weird to me, seeing futa stuff or even regular "genderbend"/sex tf stuff where the guy who turns into a hermaphrodite or woman is like "oh no this sucks I hate having boobs I just wanna be a guy again" then most of the people who like it, myself included, are like "aww fuck I wish that was me, I hate being a guy, fuck I wanna be a girl so much please someone help me"

My simple minded explanation: people who like futa like women who happen to have dicks, not men who transitioned. It goes to the whole "are traps gay" thing.

It IS kind of weird but that's the human psyche for you. Also it's all kind of gay but if we're to believe Kinsey we're all at least a bit homo.

This. Very much this. The main attraction is that she's a woman, and the dick allows her to fuck another woman. So no need for the ugly guy. Basically it allows for 100% more woman in a dick-vagina porn.

Big brained pondering: when a person of a given sexual orientation looks at a certain kind of porn and they're aroused by it, that porn is necessarily that kind of orientation.

The thing is that what is a given person's orientation is as subjective as can get.

Trying to understand that first sentence, so if a gay person looks at a certain kind of porn, and they're aroused by it, that porn is gay?

Thing is, there can be a lot of things happening in that porn. A gay man can look at vagina-dick porn and be aroused by the guy in that equation. A straight guy will look at the same porn and be aroused by the girl in the porn. So then, is the porn straight or gay?

Categorizing porn by who gets aroused by it isn't that clear cut.

It's gay to them. Like wantching that porn actor Buck whatever. It's a dude but has a 100% legit vag. As I understand it lots of gay men like watching Butch and a guy. But in the "traps are gay" view, Butch has a vagina so that's at least technically straight.

Yet companies producing and hosting porn have to categorize it according to what the consumer sees it as. Buck whoever isn't going to sell a whole lot to straight consumers.

Again, this is all "from what I've read", and any statistics can be considered as coming out of my ass.

At least they're coming out, and not going into your ass...

I used to have a good argument for the whole "traps are gay" thing. It basically came down to the idea that if the trap is passing enough, you'll never even need to ask yourself if "traps are gay" because you didn't notice in the first place. But if you do ask yourself if "traps are gay", then you noticed the trap and still went along with it, accepting the potential gayness.
But it's honestly just a meme anyway. And trap is not the same thing as transgender/transsexual. I usually think of trap as a very good crossdresser.

Oh yeah, agreed. If someone goes down on you and they look the right gender, the act fits your orientation. The thing is when you see the peen.

It's all kind of meaningless. So long as everyone is of legal age, you should just look at whatever porn you enjoy and enjoy it. And when you see porn you don't enjoy, roll your eyes and ignore, like we ignore ads in our media.
