Japanese twitch streamer? If yes, from her perspective a complete stranger tried to appear like a close friend and called her a boy. Not much works from a complete stranger other than san. Tan and chan are meant more for friends/close acquaintances. A friend calling you a tomboy works. A complete stranger is just creepy probably.

@ivesen @alyx @thor tan is basically used only by anime nerds (therefore it's not used in real life except for strange nerdy relationships). simply creepy in general lol

chan is absolutely fine but it's often used for young girls and some don't like it (but it's a personal preference)
