my mentor almost had a brain aneurysm when i showed him my dual boot
from left to right:
Boot | debian | windows c: | home (shared by debian and windows in NTFS ) | lood encrypted disk

By "home" do you mean the linux /home? Didn't think you could do that in NTFS. And even if you can, I don't think that's a good idea, which is why the brain aneurysm is understandable.

In that case, can't say I see why someone would have a brain aneurysm over this. Not how I'd do dual booting, but your use case should work just fine.
