IIRC the rover you're referring to wasn't actually the last one. It was the one before it. Though I can't remember the name either to be honest.

Did a quick search, the rover we're both thinking about is Opportunity. It was launched in 2004, lasted till 2018 and used solar panels. Next rover was Curiosity, launched in 2012 and this one uses plutonium for its energy.
