I have to admit, they made a compelling trailer.
@alyx
"You break the rules, and become a hero. I do it and become the enemy.. That doesn't seem fair"
The main line of the trailer is a wage gap level woke shit.
You know EXACTLY where this is going don't ya?
@LukeAlmighty
We'll have to see the movie and the exact context for her line. It might not go the feminist way.
So far they indeed both broke rules, and Scarlet Witch, according to comic book canon, is supposed to be a villain. But so far, in the MCU, she hasn't been named as a bad guy (although, from what I've heard of her show, she definitely should have been).
@LukeAlmighty
I already know she's in it. And I am apprehensive about it, but I don't see it yet as being guaranteed that it will be garbage. We've seen the MCU improving upon the source material before and we've seen it butcher it. Let's wait and see what Sam Raimi manages to do this time.
@LukeAlmighty
I definitely know the feeling you're having. When you can kinda tell something is headed in the wrong direction, but also completely dread it. I have it quite often too, but I think it's usually related to things I like. But I don't care that much about Dr. Strange. So maybe I'm not being paranoid about it.
@alyx
I haven't seen any guarantee either...
I am just starting to see an uncomfortably familiar pattern.
And contrary to what my friends tend to say about me, I love to be wrong. I hope this is just another case of my paranoia :D
