Yeah, but we weren't born and don't live in a "historically". We were born in the last 30-40 years, in a culture that often finds a slightly brown/tanned skin much more appealing than white skin. Pretending this isn't true for the sake of victim points is peak everything I hate about humans.

At some point we just gotta move on from the "historically". I'd say the same to the Jews, Black, etc. that has some past bad event: "At which point do we move on from it? In 25 years? 50? 100? 250?" it's ridiculous. We're holding responsible people who currently had fuck all to do with it
