Wait so am I missing something with this Twitter block change? If I wanted to see people that blocked me I would just log out or go on an alt account to look at it. I don't really think it ever effectively prevented people from seeing you. Like I hate the fucking site but really, at this point are those fags just looking for things to get upset about. Blocking on any site has always been meant to prevent you from seeing the idiots.

@arc for me, muting is meant to prevent you from seeing other people's posts. blocking is to make it so that accounts can't interact with yours. it isn't just about not being able to see your account... if you wanted that you would just lock your account (although twitter does need more robust functionality when it comes to private posting). if i block someone, i don't want them to even be able to reply to my posts for other people to see.

@beardalaxy Hmm, okay. It does seem like this block change still prevents all the usual stuff like replies and quoting and stuff. But in a way it could make it easier for people to gang up on someone.

@arc so the only thing it changes is that they can still see your profile? Like why even make this change at all. It seems pointless.

@beardalaxy That's what I'm thinking, this kind of just seems like a "normalfags figuring out what an adblocker is" moment
