@matana @BJay out of all these i think gumball has the most unique style, everything else just feels way too similar. maybe gravity falls comes in second.

but lol @ the 3d example hahaha

@beardalaxy @BJay @matana actually heard a story of someone born with more than one penis apparently happens sometimes

It's is only like half functional and works strangely etc
@BJay @beardalaxy @matana it's extremely rare obviously I think there's procedures to remove it since it causes issues but OP didn't

Think it was on R*ddit one of the few times something interesting is on R*ddit
@CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @BJay @beardalaxy @matana also one from Saudi Arabia that happened apparently these are the only two cases known in history 2015 and 2021

You think something is happening? Are half of the population going have 3 pennies soon all dysfunctional? Is it a mutation that will slowly become common place?

@BJay @CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @beardalaxy @matana don't know why this one says it's the first when that other one happened in 2015
India has the most unsanitary polluted shitholes on earth they get all sorts of horrific birth defects and breed new superbugs

@fugger @BJay @beardalaxy @matana wait, isn’t the one who turns into a panda a girl? is this futanari?

@beardalaxy @matana @BJay

to be fair most anime has a mostly consistent style I am fine with both art styles if you ignore the west not producing as many bangers instead shit posting low quality mediocre cash grabs

@fugger @BJay @matana jesus fuck xD

when you see anime you can pretty much always definitively say "that's anime" but it has far from just the same art style reused over and over imo. it's fairly easy to tell what studio produced an anime or exactly what anime it's from. if you asked me who made all of the shows mentioned above i'd honestly just think, other than gumball/gravity falls, they were all from the same creator but they're all actually different afaik.

this image of anya in different styles, case in point. though the recycled, low budget anime definitely lack originality and end up looking pretty similar. it's only the ones that take a lot of inspiration from the manga that end up looking distinct to the point where even if i'm not super familiar with the anime, if i even see a character from it i'll immediately know which one it is.

and miyazaki art is on another level of serenity and warmth, it looks like how good childhood memories feel.

@matana @BJay i only say gumball is the most unique out of all of these, btw, because it employs a lot of different techniques of art and blends them together really well. you have 3d rendered backgrounds, some 3d characters that have a sort of stop-motion look to them, a lot of absolutely insane facial emotion.

it also came before most of the shows on here so it gets a pass based on that alone. gumball never felt like it was copying anything. the show as a whole has a very specific shitposty nature about it and that doesn't show just in the humor but the art as well. the rest feels just, super generic.

gravity falls has some really pretty backgrounds, and predates a lot of the shows there too.
